Amanda Kehoe will be at the Library of Birmingham on Empathy Day

On Empathy Day 12th June 2018, Amanda Kehoe will be at the Library of Birmingham for a Q&A session about her book ‘TJ and his Wheelable Chair’. She will also read an excerpt from her book for everyone in attendance at the Children’s Library.
The book is unique as it tells the story of TJ. He is not able to talk or walk. But he still enjoys playing; the sounds and the movement his friends make when they play.
Disabilities are not something that can stop one from living a fulfilling life – that is the beautiful message that the book gets across in the best way possible.
Amanda grew up in Dublin. She attended Dublin Business school and worked in the marketing industry for years.
She had to leave work in 2009 when her son Tadhg was diagnosed with a devastating disease.
